Option to add custom fonts

First: Mattermost ships with some great fonts.

At the momment we use Mattermost internally and would like to open our server to some external parterns we work with.
To integrate Mattermost with our other tools, we would like it to be in our corporate design.
Therefore we would like to have our Mattermost server use our own corporate font as the standard font.

It seems that at the moment, the available fonts are hardcoded in the Mattermost core code.

  1. Am I missing an easy way to add a custom font to Mattermost?
  2. Otherwise I would like to ask for a feature that font files can be added to a directory in the mattermost server and the server will load all these fonts at startup and make them selectable via the GUI. The standard font should be selectable via the config file.

At the moment there isn’t a way to easily add a custom font to Mattermost. However, would you like to contribute this in the feature idea forum so it can be discussed, upvoted and considered for a ticket accepting pull requests?
