I’d like to be able to remove the “Show More” / “Show Less” functionality on my Mattermost server.
Here’s what it looks like on desktop client (web):
In-app (in this case there’s more text after this URL, but users will only see this if they press the arrow icon)
Is this possible?
Steps to reproduce
If you want to reproduce:
- Step 1: Write a long text
- Step 2: Observe how it get’s automatically truncated / “compressed”.
- Users now have to press an arrow to read the message in it’s entirety.
Expected behavior:
I’d like to be able to either disable this for everyone, or define a higher limit for when long messages gets truncated.
