Currently, we are checking the functions of mattermost 9.11.1(Team Edition).
When I post to a channel continuously for a short period of time,
the profile icon doesn’t appear for each thread, and I can’t distinguish between threads.
(If there is an interval of about 5 minutes, the profile icon appears.)
Is there any way to display the profile icon regardless of the posting interval?
Thank you for your question, qingdao! It sounds like you’re experiencing the default behavior where consecutive posts made within a short time interval are grouped under one profile icon. Unfortunately, there isn’t a setting in Mattermost Team Edition to force the profile icon to appear for every post regardless of timing. However, this could be a good enhancement request. I would recommend posting this on our UserVoice forum if you haven’t done so already.
