Unable to receive password reset email
Steps to reproduce
I am using mattermost 8.0.1 on an ubuntu server
We are trying to migrate from slack to mattermost. I imported the slack export and it was a success. The only catch being all the user passwords are reset. I figured the only way to ease the process of onboarding everyone to mattermost is to let everyone reset their passwords again using the forgot password feature. I configured the smtp settings and tested it. Received the email stating “It appears your Mattermost email is setup correctly!”
But when I try to reset the password for a user, no relevant logs can be seen and i did not receive the email.
no email is recived, not even in the spam section.
