The /gif
command is implemented via a Community Maintainer plugin. Your UX concerns can’t be fixed within Mattermost itself. Could you please open a new GitHub issue in the community member repository?
It’s not technically a code defect until there are clear guidelines for 3rd party integrations UX expectations.
@matthewbirtch is there something in Compass for this? Compass Design System
